Winter's Rigging is based just south of Buffalo which makes us very accessible to all of New York, Pennsylvania, North East Ohio, New England and Ontario. We have four 583 side booms, a 150 Ton Mantis Hi-Rail Crane, and a variety of other equipment to get you back on track and moving again.

Load AdjustmentsWhen you have a shifted, unbalanced, damaged, or overloaded rail-car or trailer, we can get it straightened out. Keeping up on the latest AAR Loading Rules is a priority of ours, so you can ensure your cargo will be approved to travel safe and secure. We always keep a steady supply of dunnage and other materials to get your loads back up to snuff.

Traction Motor & Wheel Change OutsWe know that having a locomotive can be a big problem for the railroad, that's why we have outfitted a division designed just for traction motor & wheel change outs. With our 150 ton Hi-Rail Crane and 583 Side Booms, we can get out to you and back on track in no time flat.

Rail-car Load Up, Tie Down & RelocationWhen you have a damaged engine or rail-car that needs to be loaded and tied down for transport, we have the expertise to follow AAR loading rules and regulations to get the job done right. We also have the capability to transport cars via our stretch trailer and boxcar mover.

Track Panel SettingTrack Panel removal and installation can be tricky business. We make it easy with our 150 ton Mantis Hi-Rail Crane. Being on top of the rail allows the crane to fit into tighter places such as bridges, tunnels, and under towers. This also removes the risk of disturbing the ballast and other materials that provide structural support for the rail.

Rigging ServicesWe can offer crane service of any capacity and we have four 583 side booms that can lift up to 75 ton each. In addition, we have fork lifts and telehandlers ranging from 3 to 15 tons.

TransportationWith our large fleet of trucks and trailers, we can move all sorts of equipment. We have the capability to move an entire plant or transport small buildings like sheds and small cabins.

Millwright Assistance
Winter's Rigging can assist your millwright to move and set equipment. We have the tools and experience needed to move and handle equipment safely.

Storage and Other Services
StorageFacility real estate can be difficult to manage when you are in the middle of changing out a production line. Let us receive your new equipment and store your old machines to make the transition easier. We have three indoor locations to store and keep your items safe in. We also have the ability to drop off a sea freight container for you to fill and we will transport it and stage it our facility until you need it again.
